RAINCOAST A/R COVID-19 UPDATE

March 26, 2020

Dear Customer,

The Covid-19 crisis has affected all of our business but retailers are on the front line and hardest hit. We stand ready to assist you with delays to payment for your receivables with us. We will eventually come through this crisis, and when we do, we want you to continue to be a strong customer. One of the most difficult things about the current situation is trying to guess when things might return to normal. We just don't know. Please, to the extent possible, stay in touch with our credit department: keeping communication lines open is what we ask most from you at this time. Our sales reps continue to play a key role in letting us know how you are doing.

You can contact our credit department at ar@raincoast.com

You can also call our customer service line at 800 663 5714 and ask to be transferred to our credit department.

Some of you may feel you should immediately send returns to reduce A/R. If you have returns of books that you are sure will be excess to what you need when you re-open and customers return, by all means initiate a return. Our warehouse remains open at this time, but please contact us to double-check that before you ship. Please do not send stock that would be useful to have in-store when you re-open it is better that we arrange for you to delay payment to us instead of returning and then re-ordering.

We are all on an emergency footing, and we will do our part in helping you get through this.

Regards,
John Sawyer, CEO
Raincoast Distribution Group
