Once Emily and Matt introduce themselves to Nellie and her daughter, Florence, Nellie invites the two friends to a play that is being performed that evening, which she hopes will change everything for women in Manitoba. Women want the right to vote and this time stuffy politicians like Premier Roblin will not stop them.
