IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING RETURNS OF MACMILLAN PRODUCT ORIGINALLY BOUGHT FROM HB FENN
In May, Macmillan sent out a letter regarding returns from Canadian customers, directing customers to return books to their returns depot in Thorold, Ontario.
This letter is available here (PDF).
Fenn’s receivers are working to credit returns against amounts still owing to Fenn. This is part of a legal process over which Raincoast has no control. Raincoast is not legally allowed to credit customers for books bought from HB Fenn at this time, as any credits currently owing are meant to be included in the bankruptcy estate. It is our understanding from Macmillan’s letter that the receivers plan to process returns received up until August 12, 2011.
Raincoast will, after August 12, accept customer returns of Macmillan product that we now distribute subject to our usual returns policy, as long as it was bought from Fenn within 12 months of the returns date.

We've Moved!
Raincoast Books has moved to a larger warehouse and new head office at 2440 Viking Way in Richmond, BC. The new location is five kilometers from the previous warehouse and will hold 40% more books.
We began operating in our new facility on Tuesday, January 4, 2011.

New "Load Order" Function!
You can now load orders from a spreadsheet or text file using the new "Load Order" menu option! The new function allows you to copy the information from your file into a web page. All you need is two columns: ISBN and Qty, separated by a space, comma, or tab. If you use spreadsheets or your system has the ability to dump your order to a file, this option could help speed up your ordering process!

Hurts skid lots
We have a number of skids of "hurt" books available. A spreadsheet listing these pre-mixed skids - by quantity and price - can be found with our order forms. Click on the Download Raincoast Order Forms link in the left hand column.

You can now check Out of Print and Title Status Changes online and find out what titles are no longer available. Click here or in the lefthand column.
You Can Now See Backorders Ready to Ship!
See Backorders that are ready to ship as well as their dollar value by going to Open Orders and filling in the "Show ready-to-ship items only" box and clicking "Go".
You can also see this information in My Order.
How do I look at my orders?
Once logged in, go to "My Account" to view:
Recent Orders: all orders placed within the last 6 months
Open Orders: all unshipped orders
Latest Shipments: all shipments within the last 50 invoices
Returns: details on returned stock.
How do I search for a title?
Search our entire catalogue using Quick Search in the top right corner or Advanced
Search in the menu.
